The international Beta version of our software has now been released.

We’ve been asked for a lot more accesses than we expected so we had to reschedule things a little bit.

The very first users requested us quite a lot of changes, which we did. We did a whole update of the software, worked a lot on the translations and we had to modify the interface in order to be more user-friendly.

All  identifiers codes are personally sent to each user !

We are now editing videos in order to guide our new users during their first steps using Bob booking.

The idea is to get as much feedback as possible so we can improve together this brand new version.

Free Beta European version to be released !

A perfect day

Breaking news from Bob booking – web-based solution application dedicated to music booking agencies:

The Beta European version of the software will be released on October 28th for the Womex in Copenhagen, coming up in English, German and French.

The Beta Version will be free until December 15th 2010. Then users will have to subscribe.

You want to send a newsletter to your public or some promotional invitations to your partners, Bob Booking has a option for that.

The massive mailing functionality allows an optimal reception of your emails despite the restrictive anti spam filters.

Every campaign enables a more targeted and efficient prospecting, and improves the control and knowledge of your contact file (you can see who receives, opens, clicks…).

Follow-up Schedule

This functionality allows you to program reminders for the communications you have scheduled (calls, emails sending, fax) or anything else you need to remind (meeting…). It’s possible to add a document with your reminder text (preset email…).

Each reminder is automatically associated and visible on the concerned organization sheet. You can also find all of them in the to-do list of Bob booking.

The remind day, a message appears on the dashboard of Bob Booking.

Geolocation Of Your Contacts

As you’re not a expert in geography (or maybe yes but in the hypothesis you’re not !), we help you to easily locate your contacts on a map.

In one click, you have a direct access to an interactive (Google) plan without leaving your organization sheet.

It will facilitate the set up of roadmaps by giving you some indications on the distance, the surroundings facilities (hotels, restaurants, towns)…

An option also allows you to locate all the contacts of a defined perimeter (zone) in the aim to strategically organize your tours.

Contact Database Management (Part 2 / 2 )

STEP 2 : create shortcut to your personalised contact selections

( If you are just looking for an organization or a person in your database, you can use the simple research field )

  • Use a multi-criteria research: by category (promoter, festival…), localization, type of music…and save the results under a specific name (ex: East Midlands promoters). if you create a new organization  that matches these criteria, it will automatically be added to this list.
  • Create your own selection and add the organisation you want,  using the drag and drop process.
  • From here, you have the possibility to achieve several actions, as share it, export it on an excel file, send bulk mail, print tags for massive direct mail etc…

Contact Database Management (Part 1 / 2 )

BOB BOOKING allows you to manage more efficiently your contacts in 2 steps :

STEP 1 : create and customize your organization sheets

(you also can import your contacts directly from excel files)

  • Fill information on organization : name, address, email, phone number, employees, free additional comments, specific tags to qualify it(by category, programming types, networks) and all events they organize (festival…).
  • Use the tabs to follow the history of relations with the organization:  all commercial communication which have been treated and those which are scheduled (call, mails, fax…), all bulk mailing sent (invitations, newsletters…), all the past options and the ones that are to come.
  • According to the organization specificities, additional tabs can be available: technical information of venues (capacities, sizes…), promoters information (programming type and period…).

PROJECT PROGRESS #3 Calendar Application

Firsts modules are appearing… The calendar is one of them.

This function, which is actually a real tool, will undeniably seduce most music agents, mainly those who deal with several artists and share their data within their agency.

If you are a current iCal or Google Agenda user, you’ll find the same organization in this module : display by day, week or month , choice of colour for every specific calendar…

In Bob Booking, Two types of calendars are available:

  • The shared calendars, which involve the whole company and can be displayed by any user. Forget your communications problems and share easily and instantly everybody’s schedule.
  • The artistic, professional and personal calendars, which can be shared among some team members, or with the whole team. They enable you to follow-up with each individual artist, or to have an overview of your activities.
